Large cannabis factory found during police raid at terraced Winton home

A large cannabis factory was uncovered by police officers during a raid at a terraced property in Winton. Police officers investigated a tip-off from residents about a suspicious address in the area of Bournemouth and forced their way into the property this morning (Friday, July 22).

Photos shared from the scene show rows of suspected cannabis plants in a large lit room, which were later bagged up and seized by police officers. Several police cars could be seen lining the road.

A spokesman for Bournemouth Police shared: “Today, Bournemouth North NPT have carried out a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in Winton following on from intelligence by local residents. A large cannabis factory has been located. One male is currently assisting police with enquiries.”
