More than 1000 plants were discovered in the raid
Three people have been arrested after a huge cannabis farm with more than 1000 plants was discovered at a Bolton furniture shop today.
Police from the Great Lever Neighbourhood Policing Team discovered the plants after they raided CB Furniture off Shaw Street earlier on Wednesday.
They were acting on intelligence gathered from the community by police community support officers.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and three arrests have been made today after the Great Lever Neighbourhood Policing team executed a misuse of drugs warrant at CB Furniture off Shaw Street, Bolton.
“Over 1000 plants at various stages of cultivation and a large quantity of ready to go cannabis have been seized along cannabis clones for sale with a van also used by the offenders.
