Six people have been arrested after a large cannabis grow was discovered in a town centre property. Police carried out a raid in the Market Street area of Rhyl this morning [Wednesday] before the discovery was made.
Police said six men were arrested, with investigations ongoing. They added that there would be an increased police presence in the area due to the discovery.
The ongoing war against cannabis takes its toll.
In a post on social media they said: “This morning, officers have executed a search warrant at a premises in the Market Street area of Rhyl, which has resulted in the successful discovery of a large scale cannabis grow.
“Six men have been arrested on suspicion of various drugs related offences, and an increased police presence will be seen in the area whilst our investigation is ongoing.
“This is the latest in a series of commercial drugs productions to have been disrupted in the area in recent months
